Initial conversation
60 minutes to an honest assessment of your needs
In an informal initial conversation, we talk openly about your current situation: Where are the friction points? Where is transparency missing? And where can structured consulting make a real difference?
- Which processes cost unnecessary time or generate errors every day?
- Where are clear requirements or documentation missing?
- Which IT projects are stalling or not running as planned?
- Where is a neutral party between the business unit and IT missing?
- What are realistic first steps for your organisation?
Approach
From the first question to a lived solution
Good consulting doesn't start with a ready-made concept. It starts with listening, understanding and an honest assessment — before any measures are discussed.
Understand
Jointly capture goals, challenges, processes and constraints — without pre-formed answers and without product sales.
Assess
Systematically classify the need for action, potentials and risks — so that decisions can be made on a solid, traceable basis.
Plan
Define a roadmap, priorities and realistic implementation steps — achievable and tailored to your resources and circumstances.
Accompany
Support business units, management and IT during implementation and adoption — until the solution durably reaches everyday operations.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which companies is this consulting suitable for?
The focus is on mid-market companies in the German-speaking region — across industries. Experience includes automotive, insurance/banking, pharma and the public sector. What matters is not the industry but the concrete need: unclear processes, missing requirements documentation, or IT projects that need support.
What distinguishes process management from business analysis?
Process management deals with capturing, documenting and optimising workflows — with the goal of creating transparency and efficiency. Business analysis, by contrast, translates business requirements into IT-implementable concepts. In practice, the two disciplines interlock: good IT solutions require clear processes, and well-optimised processes often need IT support.
Do you work in agile environments — e.g. with Scrum?
Yes. I have extensive experience in agile projects following Scrum — as a business analyst and requirements engineer formulating and maintaining user stories, epics and acceptance criteria, and managing requirements in tools such as Jira. I also have classical project experience and adapt my approach to the project environment.
How does an initial conversation work?
The initial conversation typically lasts 45 to 60 minutes and is non-binding. We discuss your current situation, specific challenges and possible areas for action. By the end, both sides know whether and how a collaboration makes sense.
Can individual services be commissioned — e.g. only process modelling?
Yes. The individual service areas — process management, business analysis, IT consulting, test management — can be commissioned independently. Many projects begin with a clearly scoped task and are extended as required.
Do you also work remotely?
Yes. The majority of consulting services can be delivered remotely — workshops, reviews, requirements analysis and alignment run just as effectively online as in person. When needed, I am also available on-site, particularly for the initial situation analysis or complex workshops.
